It’s no secret that I have something of a sweet tooth. In fact, “something of a sweet tooth” is a huge understatement – a quick browse through my recipes will reveal that my sweet tooth is well and alive… and thriving. But in order to gain balance and feel good, a fair number of the desserts I make (and love) are healthy.

I don’t know about you, but come 3 o’clock in the afternoon… I need a snack. It doesn’t have to be huge or elaborate – it can be just a few mouthfuls and I’ll be happy. Without that snack (especially if I had a lighter lunch), I tend to transform into a grumpy, shaky mess with an attention span of about 2 seconds.

And yes, there are gluten free pizza recipes out there. There are. But… hear me out. A pizza crust should not contain eggs. Or milk. Or, god forbid, cauliflower. (Because, friends, I love cauliflower and all, but keep it away from my pizza.)
